Special Needs Blind Dog Is Searching For A Home

| Published on November 17, 2015

Everyone, meet Ray “Snarles”!

Ray Snarles is named after Ray Charles because just like the famous singer, this sweet dog is blind. Ray had both of his eyes removed when he was two-years-old because he had glaucoma.

But sadly, Ray’s owner passed away. He is now under the care of K9 Guidance to Inclusion–a special center focused in rehabilitating dogs and training them. K9 Guidance to Inclusion’s owner, Christopher Brauer, and his fiance, Brittany Robinson, are Ray’s foster parents.

According to Christopher who’s also a trainer at the K9 Guidance to Inclusion, Ray doesn’t think of himself as blind. Brittany, a Certified Professional Trainer and Certified Trick Dog Instructor of K9 Guidance to Inclusion says that Ray is friendly with everyone and he would make a great therapy dog.

Ray is truly a sweet and special dog. Watch the video below for the full story!

Ray is looking for a forever home. But since he’s a special needs dog, he gets overlooked. Can you help Ray find his forever home?

If you are interested in adopting Ray, please contact K9 Guidance to Inclusion by visiting their website or by dropping by their Facebook page.
