The stray’s transformation was so remarkable that Mark knew it was time to give him a name. After all, this once-lost soul had become a permanent member of the farm. Mark chose the name “Roman,” a clever play on words, as the dog had been “roaming” around the property when they first met.
According to Today, Mark explained his choice of name, saying, “I thought it was fitting because I found him roaming around on my farm, and now he’s found his place here.”
Roman fit in perfectly with the other animals on the farm, blending seamlessly into the farm family as though he had always been there. Mark expressed his joy at how well Roman was adjusting to life with his new furry friends. “He’s done so well with all of my other animals,” Mark shared. “I’ve got footage of him interacting with my baby goats, sniffing them through the fence, and just acting totally fine.”
