In 2011, a video of a talking dog took over the internet. The poor dog just wants a savory snack, but every time his human describes meat that’s in the kitchen, he disappoints the dog by not giving him any.

However, the dog isn’t really talking, which becomes obvious when he starts forming full sentences. Yet, it adds to the charm of the video, especially since it means no dogs were actually upset during the filming.

Ultimate Dog Tease

In the video titled “Ultimate Dog Tease,” a man casually talks to his dog about food. The dog reacts to everything the man says, and his mouth moves along with the words, including some yawns to indicate him crying in frustration.

The video starts with the man describing the meat drawer in his fridge. In response, the curious pup says “yeah” over and over again as his dad talks about maple bacon. Of course, the dog hopes maple bacon is in his future, but then his human reveals that he already ate the bacon. The poor pup throws a small tantrum as a result.

However, the man explains that he also found some steak in the meat drawer, but he ate that too. The silly pup has another priceless reaction. Then, the man reveals that he got one more special food item out of the fridge. He took some chicken, covered it with cheese, and put cat treats on it. Despite the dog’s eager face, he admits that he fed it to the cat.

Understandably, the dog is devastated. No dog wants to hear about meat only to learn it’s been given away. But since this video is dubbed with silly voices, it’s hilarious rather than sad.

A Timeless Video

Despite coming out over a decade ago, Ultimate Dog Tease remains an internet classic. Many dog lovers referred to it as “the best video on the internet” because it never gets old. Even though the dog can’t really speak English, his words are surprisingly accurate to how dogs would talk if they could.

This video was posted on “Talking Animals,” a YouTube channel dedicated to comedic videos featuring talking animals. Another popular video on this channel is about a dog who begs his dad to bring home a kitten. He shares a similar dopey voice to the dog in this video.

Whether you’ve seen Ultimate Dog Tease a hundred times or have never watched it, it’s worth seeing. It never fails to bring a smile to dog lovers’ faces.
