What’s on your bucket list?
Most dog owners would make their dog’s remaining days count by giving them a bucket list filled with different adventures for their dog to experience–from eating ice cream and going to beach, to doing something daring! Thankfully, a kindhearted woman named Kate Goodhart opened her heart and her home to the two.
Gertie is an old dog. The vet even suggested to Kate to have Gertie put down because of her numerous medical issues. But Kate believed that Gertie has some fight left in her.

Kate followed her instinct. And when Gertie had settled into her home, her health improved. But as a senior dog, Gertie doesn’t have a lot of time left. So now she’s on a mission to get her 1,000 hugs in!

To those in the Arizona area, Gertie can be spotted at “Anthem, Cave Creek, Carefree and vicinity south to about Greenway”.
