An injured dog was found in the middle of a busy freeway. There are no details of how he ended up there. Animal control officers were called to the scene, but this good Samaritan was able to get there first. His name is Rickey Young. Rickey, a father and a contractor, heard about the situation on the radio. He rushed to the scene and he took the dog to safety. Turns out the poor dog is a yellow lab mix and she was badly hurt. Rickey said that he has a dog and he wouldn’t want his dog to be in that situation. He gave this dog a chance in life. He is a hero!
