Closer examination revealed a small, frightened puppy, wet and shivering from cold or fear. She was evidently exhausted, famished, and unable to move. The worker promptly reached out to a local animal shelter, reporting the puppy’s dire situation. As he awaited their arrival, he offered the puppy comforting words, looking into her eyes filled with hope.
The shelter team, taking time to prepare by stopping for food to nourish the hungry puppy, approached her with caution to avoid startling her.
