We love our dogs so much to the point of spoiling them. We do our best to keep them comfortable and give them everything they need. Sometimes, we just can’t resist and give them what they want–especially when they beg us for food when they see us eating. Giving them a little piece won’t hurt. But too much can be harmful to their health, because an obese dog is an unhealthy dog.
Obesity is what Vincent the Dachshund is fighting today. He weighs 38 pounds–that’s twice the healthy weight of a Dachshund! Vincent recently lost his owner and was surrendered to an animal shelter in Houston. But thanks to K-9 Angels Rescue, things are looking up for Vincent. Now he has a workout plan and he’s now on a healthy diet. He also found a foster parent who is also helping him shed off some pounds. Watch the video below for the full story!
