Part of each sale through the iHeartDogs store is donated to GreaterGood, which helps support various charities. Thanks to customers like you, happy endings, like the one below, are made possible.

The handsome hound mix in the photo below is one-year-old Sam. Earlier this year, he was picked up as a stray in Tennessee’s Campbell County. Sadly, no one came to claim him.

But fate had a plan for Sam. He was one of several lucky Campbell County pups chosen for transport to New York!

The GoNorth Animal Transport Collaborative is a project of the non-profit group, Peaceful Kingdom. They pull at-risk dogs from perpetually overcrowded shelters in east Tennessee and deliver them to northern shelters and rescues where their chances of adoption are much higher.

The system definitely worked for Sam — he was adopted soon after arriving in Wantagh, NY and is now living happily ever after with a wonderful family!

Thanks to a grant from GreaterGood.org funded by the iHeartDogs.com community, Sam received the second chance he and ALL dogs deserve!

Want to help other endangered dogs like Sam travel to safety? Every purchase you make from iHeartDogs’ Second Chance Movement Collection funds travel miles to organizations like GoNorth Animal Transport!
