The Yorkshire Terrier is most often seen on laps or in purses these days, but the breed originated in England as a vermin hunter and did the job quite well, according to the breed’s history. Like other terriers, the Yorkshire Terrier can be overwhelming for its small size due to its confident and overprotective nature.
