#5 – Dachshund
The Dachshund is a short-legged dog from Germany and was developed in such a way that it could easily track and flush out badgers and other burrowed animals. When imported to the United States, the breed was even used to hunt prairie dogs. They are very intelligent dogs but are known for being slightly more aggressive towards both humans and other animals.
