#10 – Great Dane
Despite its large size and goofball temperament, the Great Dane is an intelligent breed with a working history. They Mastiff breed from Germany used to hunt large game like wild boar. Because of their size and appearance, they make excellent guard dogs. That said, they are generally non-aggressive and are considered gentle giants in the dog world.
