Have you ever had a dog who had gone missing? Imagine the stress and the worry, it must be very overwhelming.
But what the Love family experienced was even worse. The Love family is from Banks County, Ga. They were traveling on Interstate 85 with Georgia, their 14-month-old German Shepherd dog. It was five in the afternoon when suddenly a drunk driver struck them at over 85 miles per hour, causing their car to roll multiple times. Everyone was okay. But they noticed Georgia has fled the scene. She must have been so terrified that she ran away.

The family did everything to locate the pup. As soon as the accident happened, Eric Love did the right thing of putting the word out through social media. He posted pictures and several information about Georgia and the accident. He asked everyone in the area to keep a watchful eye and report to them if anybody sees their beloved dog.

Dozens of volunteers helped in searching for Georgia. And after 5 days, Georgia was found and reunited with her family! Eric Love told Fox 5 News, “She walked right up out of the woods and into my arms.”

A big thank you to the kind people who helped in searching for her!
We’re so glad that Georgia is unharmed, and is now safe at home with her family!
