Harry Brown is a 53-year-old Marine veteran who traveled from Oregon to California with his 8-month-old service dog named Olivia. The two were traveling so Harry can make amends from his past and so he could bid his family goodbye. Harry is homeless, and he is suffering with terminal pancreatic cancer. And to make matters worse, Olivia wandered away when Harry dozed off and napped in a park.
When Harry woke up, he frantically searched for Olivia. He even walked from Long Beach to Orange County to search animal shelters to see if Olivia has been found and picked up. He wasn’t aware that there was a shelter in Long Beach. He even posted ads on Cragislist. When there were no signs of her, Harry was devastated. Olivia was all he had that time. After days of searching, Harry thought he will never see Olivia again. But then some angels came to help him. Watch the video below for the full story!
Thanks to Captain Care animal rescue group, Harry and Olivia have been reunited. And their help didn’t stop there!
