Tumbles The Tiny Two-Legged Pup Gets A 3D-Printed Wheelchair!

Everyone, meet Tumbles–a six-week-old pup who just got a new 3D printed wheelchair!

Little Tumbles was born without front legs. When he was just two-weeks-old, his previous owners decided to surrender him to Friends of the Shelter Dogs (FOSD)–a shelter located in Athens Ohio. They were worried that Tumbles won’t be fed properly since it’s hard for him to compete with the rest of the litter due to his condition.

Tumbles learned to get around using his snout and his rear legs. But things are about to get better for this adorable little guy.

Karen Pilcher, a retired nurse and rescue coordinator of FOSD, became Tumbles’ foster mother. And when a volunteer at FOSD posted a photo of Tumbles on Facebook, a kindhearted couple offered to help.

Make sure to check out Tumbles TONIGHT at 6:15 on Columbus’s WBNS-TV. They came to the Ohio University Innovation Center today and got new footage of him testing out his wheels.
