Some dogs enjoy chasing tennis balls. Others love long naps in sunny spots around the house. But for one lovable Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Tubs, the highlight of every day is much simpler.

She just wants to say hello.

A Daily Tradition the Neighborhood Loves

Each afternoon, around the same time, Tubs makes her way to the front fence and patiently waits.

She’s not guarding the yard or keeping watch for delivery trucks. Instead, she’s scanning the sidewalk for something much more exciting: people.

The moment she spots a neighbor walking by, her entire demeanor changes. Her tail starts wagging, her body wiggles with excitement, and she eagerly waits to see if they’ll stop and visit.

For Tubs, every passerby is a potential new friend.

The Neighborhood’s Official Greeting Committee

What started as a simple habit has become one of the most beloved routines in the neighborhood.

On busy days, Tubs can greet anywhere from 10 to 20 people as they pass by her home. Many neighbors have come to expect her cheerful welcome and make a point of stopping whenever they see her waiting.

And who could resist?

The friendly pup is known for her adorable butt wiggle, a full-body expression of happiness that appears the second someone approaches the fence. It’s impossible not to smile when watching her excitement.

Whether it’s a quick pat on the head or a few minutes of attention, Tubs happily accepts every bit of affection offered her way.

A Dog Who Loves Everyone

Some dogs are selective about who they befriend. Tubs is not one of them.

According to her mom, Isabella, the social butterfly genuinely enjoys meeting people from all walks of life. Children, adults, longtime neighbors, and complete strangers are all welcomed with the same enthusiasm.

Her daily greetings have become more than just a cute habit. They’ve helped create connections throughout the community, bringing smiles to countless people who may have been having a rough day.

After all, it’s hard to stay stressed when a happy dog is wiggling with excitement just because she saw you walking down the street.

But She Does Have One Favorite

While Tubs is thrilled to receive attention from anyone willing to stop and say hello, there is one person who stands above the rest.

Despite all the neighbors she greets each day, her biggest excitement is reserved for her favorite human.

The special bond she shares with her family shines through in everything she does. As much as she loves making new friends, nothing compares to spending time with the people she loves most.

Spreading Joy One Greeting at a Time

In a world that often feels rushed and busy, Tubs offers a simple reminder about the power of small moments.

A wagging tail. A friendly greeting. A few seconds of connection.

What may seem like an ordinary daily routine has become something much bigger, brightening the days of neighbors and turning a quiet stretch of sidewalk into one of the happiest spots in town.

And tomorrow afternoon, right on schedule, Tubs will likely be back at the fence once again, ready to greet her friends and spread a little more joy.
