Puppy Born Without Back Feet Is Given Red Booties To Help Him Walk

Everyone, meet Justin–a dog who was born without back feet.

Justin didn’t have a home right from the start. His mother was a stray, and he and his two siblings were born underneath a house in Arizona. Sadly, his mom died a week after giving birth to them. But even at that time when everything seemed hopeless for Justin and his siblings, something good happened.

The owner of the house where Justin and his siblings was born, was very kind. She took the puppies in and bottle-fed them for seven weeks. She then contacted Arizona’s Pet Allies (a rescue group in partnership with the Animal Society), and asked if they can take in three stray pups, with one pup missing his back feet. Thankfully, they agreed to take the puppies.

The stubs on Justin’s back legs needed immediate care. They were irritated and the skin was cut. It must be very painful for Justin when he tries to walk. So they brought him to the vet where they wrapped Justin’s paws with gauze and gave him medication for the pain.

Everything was looking up for Justin. This sweet pup had a foster home and he eventually found a forever home! From a depressed pup who can’t walk, Justin became a happy and sweet baby that everybody loves!

In the video, you will see Justin getting a new pair of booties that will make walking easier for him! Check it out!

Getting those booties made it easier for Justin to move around. But I think the best gift of all is having a loving, forever family who is supporting him and doing everything they could to make Justin happy and comfortable!
