This Thai breed is unique in that it sports a ridge of hair along the back that grows in the opposite direction as the rest of the coat. Although the breed’s history isn’t well documented, it was developed in Thailand and is consider an ancient breed. Now recognized by the American Kennel Club, it’s becoming more popular outside of Thailand.
