After Seeing A Head Sticking Out, Officer Rushes To Rescue Dog Trapped In Sewer And Finds A Bigger Surprise

In Cocoa Florida, a police officer found three (yes 3)  Pit Bulls trapped inside a sewer drain on the side of a highway.

Police officer Matt Rush was driving along West King Street when he heard barking sounds. Officer Rush quickly pulled over to investigate and find out where the barking sounds are coming from. It was then that he discovered three Pit Bulls huddled inside a sewer drain.

Officer Rush quickly called for help. He called dispatch so they can send animal control officers to help rescue the poor dogs. The firefighters were also called in to help remove the storm grate so the dogs can be safely removed from the sewer drain.

For sure you must be asking, “How did the dogs got there in the first place?”

According to WFTV Channel 9’s news report, Officer Rush said, “I think they may have gotten in from a manhole across the street. It appears they dug their way in and then got stuck.

Thankfully, none of the dogs were harmed. They are now under the care of Brevard County Animal Services. However, the owner of the dogs still remain unknown.
