Celebrities are coming together to help end pet homelessness and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
Helping Homeless Animals Inc. (HHA), a Miami-based animal welfare organization launched Project Fashion Tails to bring the awareness of homeless and abused animals into the spotlight via a series of celeb photo shoots.
The project is the brainchild of HHA founders, the Wittels family.
“My family and I have been rescuing animals for more than 20 years,” says Harrison Wittels. “Rescues and shelters are overwhelmed and need help. We knew that to make a difference we needed to do something a little different. My sister Eva and I have a background in fashion so this was something that was a natural fit.”

To date more than 200 photographers, models and makeup artists have volunteered, along with over 100 celebrities including Heather Morris (Glee), Seth Green (Family Guy), Jenna Fischer (The Office) and Nancy Cartwright (voice of Bart Simpson), have posed for photos with adoptable cats and dogs.
The goal of Project Fashion Tails is not only to bring awareness to animal welfare but also to educate the public about the importance of spay and neuter. The photos will be used for the “Adopt A New Attitude” awareness campaign which will be used all around the country to promote educational and rescue projects hosted by Helping Homeless Animals, Inc.
