We absolutely love rescue stories and this is another one that will warm your heart! This poor little pup is blind and out on the road and woods all alone. That is when AnimalSTEP came to the rescue!

We’re not sure how many people walked past this poor little one and kept going. How many of them had the chance to rescue her but didn’t? She was stranded on a busy street and unable to help herself.

“She is malnourished, she is sick because she spent life without shelter, no proper food and very helpless. Someone found her in her horrible condition when she tried to cross the street to something to eat.”

Until one man comes to her rescue, she had experienced the ‘unthinkable’ at only 3-months old. He confronts the starving tiny soul armed with chicken. She walks with a shake because she is so frail and undernourished; you can see every bone in her tiny body. The shakily puppy sniffs the food. There is now hope for her, as she understands this.
She can now eat everything she wants. She has a long way to go, but it’s all worth it in the end. For the rest of her life, she’ll need a roof over her head. Veterinary care that is appropriate. And lots of love. Her hero quickly took her to the veterinarian, thankfully. She’ll remain under medical supervision for as many days as are necessary until her health and weight are normal again.
