Brinkley and his family relocated to their new home, and the pup had to leave his best buds behind. He was lonely, longing for a doggy playmate when fate intervened. The neighbors adopted a 9-week-old puppy named Cedar. Brinkley was so excited to meet Cedar– and the feelings were mutual!
Cedar tried to dig a tunnel beneath the fence to get to Brinkley. It was obvious that these two wanted to be together. But their playdate had to be postponed until Cedar completed all her shots. Brinkley’s mom bought a calendar and they counted down the days until the dogs could finally be together.
During the waiting period, Brinkley struggled. His mom took him to all his favorite places, but he was obviously longing for Cedar’s company. When Brinkley and his mom crossed off the last box, they celebrated! At last, Brinkley and Cedar could play without a fence separating them.
