At Cecyte Nuevo León, a junior high school in Mexico, a playful four-legged visitor has become a beloved part of the students’ daily routine. Every day, like clockwork, the cheerful dog appears on campus just in time for recess. His arrival sparks excitement among the students, who eagerly await their chance to play with him during their break. The dog’s joyful presence has become a highlight for many, and his antics have endeared him to the entire school community.

“When the recess bell rings, he comes running to play with the students,” Lydia Sanchez, the school’s principal, wrote in a heartfelt post. While the students adore their furry friend, his enthusiasm for playtime comes with a quirk.

His favorite game is chasing soccer balls — but once he catches them, the balls rarely survive the encounter. Despite being popped, the deflated balls remain entertaining toys for the dog, who seems to love them all the same.

Typically, the students don’t mind sacrificing a few soccer balls for their canine companion. But last week, they found themselves in a bind. With only one intact ball left to play with, they reluctantly decided to close the playground gate to keep the dog out until they could replenish their supply.

The dog, faced with the closed gate, seemed to understand the reason for his exclusion. Saddened but undeterred, he left the school grounds. Later, however, he returned with a touching gesture — a deflated ball of his own, seemingly offering it as a way to apologize. “Seeing him come back with his ball to play filled me with emotion,” Sanchez told The Dodo. “He is extremely intelligent.”

Fortunately, the separation didn’t last long. The school quickly stocked up on new soccer balls, ensuring the dog could continue his favorite pastime without causing too much disruption. The students and their furry friend are now back to enjoying their recess together, with plenty of balls to go around.

Shortly after being released, he became overcome by rage and frustration and began violently wailing on his poor, trembling, frightened dog. It's clear that this man's violent tendencies didn't decrease after serving his time.

The school has fully embraced its four-legged visitor, who has become a cherished member of the campus community. Principal Sanchez has made it clear that the playful pup will always have a place at Cecyte Nuevo León. “He’ll always be welcome here,” she said.
