With the upswing of the canine population all over the world, scientists in Chile have come up with a birth control vaccine to be used for male and female dogs. The formula came from an existing process used to sterilize pigs in Australia. Chilean scientists further developed and improved the formula to be used for domestic animals, mainly dogs.

The vaccine effect is similar to a surgical castration but it has no side effects and is reversible. This saves a lot of money and after care required by an operation. It  suppresses certain hormones which renders the animal sterile. Scientists hope that this vaccine will help the growing over population in Chile and the rest of the world.

The vaccine has been patented in Chile, Europe and here in the United States. Would you allow your dog to be treated?
