We just love sweet and friendly dogs!
Several days ago, we featured a video of a Labrador named Meg who made friends with the tiniest baby bunny. And now we found another video of a gentle dog who has befriended another baby animal!
Abbey Harrison and her Labrador named Millie saw a baby squirrel on their backyard. The poor thing didn’t seem to have a mother, or probably got separated from his family.
Abbey waited for the squirrel’s mother to come back, but no mama squirrel came when they left the baby squirrel outside for about a day. So Abbey decided to adopt him until he was old enough to be released. She named him “Squirrel”.
At first Millie was scared of Squirrel; but Squirrel wasn’t afraid of Millie at all. Later on, they became close friends. They love to play together and they even eat together.

Awwww…they look so cute, don’t they?
And don’t worry guys, the little squirrel wasn’t hurt during their playtime. Millie knew how to be gentle with the baby squirrel, and she knew not to disturb him during his sleep.
