Dog Falls From A 14-Story Building. Amazingly, A Hero Was There To Catch Him!

In Portland Oregon, a man became a dog’s best friend (or shall we say guardian angel!) when he caught the dog after it fell from a 14-story building. The dog is a five-year-old Bichon Frise named Mordy.

The hero, Ted Nelson, is a resident of an apartment across the street. Mr. Nelson saw Mordy from his window. Mordy was able to squeeze himself through the railing on the balcony, and ended up perched on a small ledge. Mr. Nelson recalls that the dog looked distressed. In his mind, he thought that the dog may slip and he might have to catch the poor thing. Good thing that Mr. Nelson went straight out the door because the dog eventually slipped, and he was right under the dog when it fell– and he caught the dog in his arms! Watch the video below for the full story!

Mordy was brought to the vet and he’s going to be okay. He didn’t sustain any major injuries from his fall; only a few bruises.

Thanks to Mr. Ted Nelson, Mordy was saved.
