A dog was found left out in the freezing cold in Ecorse Michigan. Her paws were frozen to the cement. Her name is Elsa, and her owner left her for dead in the sidewalk in freezing temperatures. Poor Elsa’s cry for help was heard by the neighbors who then called animal control. She was rescued and brought to the vet where they found out that her paw was encased in ice and that there was a leash that was constricting the blood flow to that paw. The doctor who attended to her even said that it was probably the worst he has ever seen.
But despite the horrible conditions that Elsa was in, it didn’t overcome her resiliency and will to survive. And when people heard of Elsa’s story, donations started pouring in. Thousands of dollars were raised to help Elsa in her recovery. Now, Elsa is walking and her tail is wagging once again. Watch the video for the full story!
Elsa’s will to live remained strong. She is a sweet and loving dog who is happy to greet everybody.
As for her cruel owner, he is now facing criminal charges. He is charged with cruelty and torture.
I hope Elsa will soon find a loving home that will give her the love and care that she deserves.
