When a determined goose decides to claim your neighborhood as its own, life can get a little hectic. Canada Geese are known for being extremely protective, especially if they have babies nearby. They usually build their nests in grassy patches, around small ponds, or near the woods. Knowing this doesn’t really make it less stressful for the students trapped indoors, but at least they can take comfort in the fact that it won’t last forever.

Goose On Patrol: No One Is Safe

It’s hard not to laugh when you see just how serious this goose is about guarding his turf. He’s taken control of the area, scaring people on both sides of the street without showing any mercy. The original poster, Jory Harris, shared that they have been stuck inside their student housing for three days straight. Seeing how aggressive this goose is, it’s easy to understand why the whole neighborhood feels under siege.

Students and Neighbors Scramble for Safety

The goose wastes no time chasing the students back into their house, then marches across the road to send the neighbors running too. Normally, splitting up might confuse an animal, but this goose is way too fast for that. At one point, the camera caught a person in a white hoodie trying to sneak past on the sidewalk across the street. Unfortunately, speeding up caught the goose’s eye, and with a quick attack to the back of the head, the unlucky person hit the ground hard, like a sack of old potatoes.

No Harm Done, But Beware the Goose!

Thankfully, nobody got seriously hurt during this wild adventure with the feisty Canada goose. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, you might try tossing some cracked corn to distract the bird. After a few days of free snacks, you could throw a handful and make a quick escape while the goose munches away. It might just be your best shot at getting out safely!

Good luck out there, and don’t forget to share the laughs!
