A true dog lover won’t get rid of his/her dog simply because of inconvenience. A true dog lover knows that dogs are a responsibility, and having them in our lives may mean we have to sacrifice some things. And since we truly love our dogs, every sacrifice is worth it. They give us so much more in return.
However, a family in Cleveland took their 12-year-old dog to the vet, asking for their dog to be euthanized. The reason? Because they were tired of his hair–he was shedding too much.

Yup, you read that right, they asked the vet to euthanized their 12-year-old Beagle because they are tired of his hair. That’s one absurd and ridiculous reason, right?

The dog named Wizard of Wags, Wiz or Wags for short, was a healthy dog.
The vet asked the family to reconsider and convinced them that she would find someone to take the dog. The vet contacted Secondhand Mutts, who then agreed to take the dog.
