It was an emotional reunion when this family was reunited with their German Shepherd who was taken from them three years ago. The family who lives in Southern California, was devastated when Rico, their beloved dog, was taken during a messy break-up. But after three years of being apart, an animal shelter employee called them, saying that they found Rico wandering in the streets of Virginia. Watch the video below for the full story!
It wasn’t clear how the dog wound up 2,500 miles away. But what’s important is that Rico is finally reunited with the family who misses him and loves him dearly. They are all so happy to be together again!
