It is a fact that every individual, including animals like Hippopotamuses, passes gas which is formed during the digestion process. This gas must be expelled from our bodies, but sometimes this can be embarrassing. Since animals consume more food, they release gas more frequently than humans.

A Hippo, of an unknown location, was taking a swim on a hot summer day while zoo visitors watched. When the Hippo finished swimming and left the water, it let out a long and powerful fart that lasted for at least 11 seconds. The fart was so strong that it caused the Hippo’s tail to move in a loop. The Hippo kept walking as if nothing had occurred.

Although the hippo seemed unbothered, the visitors at the zoo burst into laughter. It was a surprising sight that they likely had never witnessed before. Some could be heard asking those around them if they had also seen it. It was hard to miss!

The video of a fart went viral and has received over 41 million views. The caption of the video explains that the Hippopotamus holds the title of the world’s most frequent farter and that if there was an animal Olympic event for farting, the hippo would win the gold medal.
