In Puerto Rico, People Dump Unwanted Dogs On This Beach. A Rescue Group Is Determined To Change That Forever.

| Published on September 9, 2015

When we hear the word “BEACH”, we immediately think of a wonderful place where we can enjoy the sun, the sand, and the sea. For us, it’s a place where we can bring our families, our friends, and most of all, our dogs, so we can have fun swimming and frolicking under the sun. But the beach in the video below is not that kind of beach.

In Puerto Rico, there is a beach that is called the “Dead Dog Beach”. Why the horrible name? It’s because this beach has become a dumping ground for unwanted pets. It’s really heartbreaking to see the poor dogs roaming around the beach, with no place to call home. But one rescue group is taking action and are saving these dogs. The Sato Project team is rescuing and rehabilitating these abandoned dogs and finding them loving forever homes. Chrissy Breckels, the founder of The Sato Project, is dedicated to help these poor animals find the home and the happiness that they deserve. Watch the video below for the full story.

Chrissy believes that every dog is worth fighting for. And we totally agree! Every dog deserves a home and a chance at having a happy and loved life.

Let’s help these rescued dogs find the loving home that they so desperately need. Visit the Sato Project’s website at http://www.thesatoproject.org/ for more information on how you can help!
