As The Fire Grew Stronger, Man Ignores Firefighters To Rescue His Dog–And Ends Up In Cuffs!

The footage you are about to see may not be new, but it proposes a very serious question: How far would you go to protect someone that you love? Dogs ARE family, and I would risk my own safety in a heartbeat to know that my fur kids were safe from danger. End of story.

When Jarrod Martin watched in horror as his apartment building quickly engulfed in flames, he pleaded with firefighters to go in and save his dog. He thought that it would happen instantly, but as the fire grew, his fears only multiplied and the horror of his dog burning alive inside the building began to sink in. Officials told him to wait until conditions were safer to enter, but water ran scarce and Jarrod could actually see his dog through the window, staring at him intensely, plagued with fear. Jarrod’s pleas increased, and when he couldn’t take it for another single second, he broke through the barrier and scaled the walls of his balcony to rush to his dog’s aid, carrying him back down to safety.

“I couldn’t watch it no more, I had to go get him,” said Jarrod Martin of West Memphis, TN.

So, what happened next?? Just watch and see:

Do you think that it’s right what he did? What would you have done? We want to know your opinion, so share with us in the comments!
