Mother’s Day, 2015. Unleashed Pet Rescue gets a call about a Pit Bull puppy who collapsed after wandering into a porch owing to life threatening injuries. Punctures and tears on this poor puppy’s head look suspiciously like those derived from illegal dog fighting.
The puppy named Jax was bitten repeatedly; viciously. He had a swollen face; one eye shut tight with big gashes and holes in his neck and head. How anyone can subject a puppy to dog fighting is truly the outside of enough!
Jax spent nearly two weeks in intensive care then he was finally released from the emergency center and placed in foster care. It’s sad that nothing can be done to the plight of animals like Jax. Please share this video and if you suspect there is illegal dog fighting going on in your area, don’t close your eyes nor turn your back. Report and/or call for rescue.
