Mexico has currently reported 367 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Like many other countries, they are shutting down non-essential businesses and restricting large gatherings. Citizens exposed to the virus are asked to remain in self-isolation.
But what’s a person to do when a craving strikes? One gentleman named Antonio Muñoz came up with a brilliant way to satisfy his hankering for Cheetos. Instead of breaking quarantine, he sent his dog to the corner store!

According to LadBible.com, Mr. Muñoz was on his third day of home quarantine when the desire for orange cheesy deliciousness struck. Rather than contacting the neighborhood shop to ask if they deliver, he enlisted the help of his trusty Chihuahua.

Muñoz fixed the following note to her collar. The translation reads:
“Hello Mr. Shopkeeper. Please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they’re too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar. WARNING: She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbour.”

Fellow dog parents may cringe at the thought of sending such a small pooch out into the world – with money attached to her collar no less! The dog could have become victim to countless nefarious fates, but somehow she returned home unscathed, triumphantly carrying a bag of Cheetos!

It is unknown whether the little dog has made the short trip to the convenience store in the past. Maybe she had some help along the way, or perhaps potential thieves took the warning on her collar to heart. Those familiar with Chihuahuas know they can be quite sassy if they don’t get their way!
Whatever the circumstances, the adorable pooch came home safe and sound, having fulfilled her beloved owner’s request.
As if we needed yet another reason to be grateful for our dogs during this global crisis!
