A former shelter dog finally gets adopted after a video of him went viral in the internet. Duke the Pit Bull mix, previously known as Earl, would ask for belly rubs from shelter employees when they check on him every morning. He would lay on his back, with his paws up in the air, wags his tail, and begs to get some belly rubs. It was obvious that Duke was desperate to get some love and affection.
A volunteer at the shelter took a video of him doing just that and posted it Facebook. The video went viral and got almost 630,000 views. Watch the video below!
Duke is lucky that someone filmed him and posted it on Facebook. He’s now living with a couple who sent the shelter an adoption request right after they saw the video.
We’re so glad that Duke is finally adopted! He now has a forever home with a loving family who will give him all the love, affection, and belly rubs that he needs!
