In some areas, stray dogs are everywhere. Many stray dogs have never experienced a loving family, so they fear any interactions with humans. Yet, with enough patience and kindness, these dogs can feel comfortable in a forever home.
An adorable YouTube video showed the story of two tiny puppies living as strays. They didn’t have any humans or adult dogs with them, so they were left to fend for themselves. However, they made sure to stick by each other no matter what because there was no one else to protect them.
Tiny Puppies Avoid Human Contact
A video of the tiny puppies, now named Teddy and Bear, was posted on Stray City’s YouTube channel. The channel uses edited materials from volunteers who have found stray dogs on the street. Sadly, there are more stray and abandoned animals than most people realize.
In this video, someone walking near dense vegetation hears tiny puppies whining. They film their surroundings while they look around for the heartbreaking sound. When they finally see a tiny puppy on the path, the pup darts into the bushes to avoid human interactions. However, since the puppy is so small, it isn’t hard for the rescuer to catch up.
Shortly after, the person found another small fluff ball in the plants after hearing his faint whines. The puppies were small enough to scoop up one in each hand, so the rescuer picked up both puppies and put them in the basket of their bike. The two puppies were visibly nervous, but they stayed still as the person brought them somewhere safe.
Next, the rescuer gave Teddy and Bear delicious food to snack on. The two puppies gobbled it up as if they hadn’t eaten in days. Once they were done eating, they both huddled in a nearby corner, still unsure if they should trust the human.
Growing Braver in a Loving Home
The puppies were slow to warm up to their rescuer, but they eventually came out of their shells a bit and let their true personalities shine through. Since they’re used to being outside, they love playing in the yard, but they would much rather play with each other than with humans. Whenever they feel unsafe, they huddle together to protect each other.
They’re always a little nervous at first in new situations, but once they calm down, they love to run around and wrestle with each other. They’ll even occasionally sniff their rescuer’s hands if they’re feeling brave.

A brief update video was posted after the first one, showing that Teddy and Bear become a little more comfortable every day. In the second video, they’re still tiny, but they seem more curious and playful than before. They even run toward the person filming instead of cowering. These actions may seem like small improvements, but even baby steps can be crucial for dogs rescued as strays. These puppies are lucky to finally experience a life of love!
