Every dog deserves a chance at a happy life. No matter what size, what age, or what breed, and regardless of whatever defect or condition they have, we believe that ever dog deserves a love and a home. They deserve our help.

Quasimodo–a Pit Bull with a misshapen head, is in need of help. Quasimodo has a Craniological defect that causes one side of his head to be smaller than the other. As a result, his head also tilts on one side.

QUASIMOTO will just totally capture your heart when you meet him. He was probably given that name because he tilts his…

Quasimodo was at a high-kill shelter. And because of the stigma about Pit Bulls, plus his defect, it wasn’t likely that Quasimodo was going to be adopted.

Thankfully, a non-profit animal rescue organization named A Wish For Animals, came to save Quasimodo. He was so happy that he got out of that kill shelter! Check out the video below!

We were so lucky to get a chance to watch QUASIMOTO take his Freedom Run today thanks to his RESCUE and all of your SHARING. He is a very special guy and we are so happy to see him get his second chance. But Quasimodo is not out of the dark just yet. Before he could find a loving, forever home, he became very ill. He began to have seizures. A Wish for Animals founder Toni Eakes thought Quasimodo was going to die. They rushed him to a local vet and when he was stabilized, they had him checked by a specialist.

They then found out that Quasimodo’s seizures were because of the unknown head trauma he suffered before he was rescued. There is a swelling in his brain and he’s taking medications to reduce the swelling plus three anti-seizure drugs.

A Wish For Animals told Barkpost in an email that Quasi is now like a completely different dog. He smiles, is much more affectionate, and he talks too. They say that he’s also livelier.

But although Quasimodo is feeling a little better, the neurologist still needs to check and assess the extent and injury to his skull and brain. He has to undergo an MRI, and the procedure costs about $2000–which would be added on top of the $2300 bill when he was rushed to the hospital.

A Wish For Animals is knocking on the hearts of people to help Quasimodo. They are relying on donations to rescue animals. And they are counting on the generosity of kindhearted people to help them take care and treat Quasimodo.
