Simba and Asha were traveling home with their family when an unexpected stop near a park in Jiuquan, China, led them to a tiny puppy hiding beneath some bushes. What began as an ordinary break during a long drive soon became the beginning of a new friendship, thanks to two Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs who noticed something their person had completely missed.
Simba had been whining during the journey, prompting his person to pull over and let both dogs stretch their legs. The three walked around the small park as usual until Simba suddenly approached a patch of bushes, with Asha following close behind. Both dogs began sniffing the same area, refusing to move on as though something nearby deserved a closer look.

Two Curious Wolfdogs Lead Their Person To A Puppy
At first, their person could not understand what had captured the dogs’ attention. Nothing seemed unusual about the bushes, but Simba and Asha continued investigating the same spot.
Curious about their behavior, their owner moved closer and heard a faint sound coming from somewhere inside the branches. After carefully clearing the vegetation, they discovered a tiny puppy curled up underneath. The little dog was cautious when approached. When his rescuer called to him, he initially backed away, apparently unsure about the unfamiliar person standing nearby.
Fortunately, the puppy eventually moved closer, allowing himself to be gently picked up. His rescuer gave him time to become familiar with their scent before wrapping him in a piece of cloth and carrying him back to the car.
The next surprise came when Simba and Asha met the puppy up close. Simba sniffed and licked the little newcomer while Asha also approached to investigate, and their owner was struck by how gently both much larger dogs behaved around him.

A Tiny Puppy Named Aiden Finds His Place
Bringing the puppy home was only the beginning of his new life. His family gave him a warm place to rest, offered him milk, and eventually chose a name that suited their newest companion: Aiden.
Because Aiden was still very young, his caregiver provided small meals several times throughout the day. Caring for such a little puppy required extra attention, but he gradually became more comfortable in his new surroundings.
After just a few days, Aiden began showing a particular attachment to Simba. Whenever the puppy woke up, he would look for the larger dog, and when Simba walked away, Aiden hurried after him.
Before long, Asha became part of the little puppy’s daily adventures, too. Aiden started following both dogs around, trying to join their activities despite the considerable difference in their sizes.
His growing confidence even appeared during playful interactions with Simba. Although Aiden was much smaller, he sometimes snapped playfully back at his enormous companion rather than simply watching from a distance.
For their owner, seeing the three dogs interact made something clear. Aiden was no longer just the tiny puppy they had discovered beside the road. He had become a member of the family.
From Hiding Beneath Branches To Running With Friends
As the days passed, Aiden became increasingly active and eager to follow Simba and Asha wherever they went. The little puppy who had once backed away from a stranger was now regularly joining his two much larger companions.

Later, their family traveled to Dunhuang, where the dogs had an opportunity to run across open land. Simba and Asha raced ahead, and Aiden chased after them, doing his best to keep up with their much longer strides. Watching the three dogs together reminded their person of that unexpected stop in Jiuquan. Simba’s whining had led them to a park, where the two Wolfdogs noticed a puppy hidden beneath the branches.
Now, Aiden is growing up alongside the very dogs who first discovered him. Instead of remaining a frightened little puppy beneath the bushes, he has a family, a name, and two companions to follow on his adventures.
