Baxter was the world’s oldest therapy dog who lived to 19.5 years old. Like many of his patients, near the end of his life he was unable to walk, so had to be lifted into the hospital beds. This video is dedicated to the memory of Baxter. March 23, 1990 – October 16, 2009. RIP sweet angel! I can see you up in heaven playing with all those patients you served! No more pain, no more fears, no more tears!

As if the video isn’t emotional enough, they HAD to play that one Sarah Mclachlan song, right?!

DISCUSS: Tell us in the comments below what you thought of the video! Have you ever considered making your dog a therapy dog? After watching this, I’m seriously considering it!
