It’s easy to feel like you are just one person and that you cannot make a difference. However, here are 10 amazing small but mighty nonprofits that prove one person (or a small group) can make a BIG difference in helping dogs. Each one of them has a tip for those looking to get involved or consider one of these nonprofits if you are looking to donate to a good cause.

#1 – Thankful Paws (Maryland)

This amazing group helps provide pet food to local pet charities, rescue groups, and low income senior housing facilities. They help almost hundred people every month with at home pet food deliveries and also help those who are homeless care for their pet while trying to get re-established. TIP: Anyone interested in starting a local food bank can contact them for help. www.thankfulpaws.org
