Sometimes when things are happening far away, we don’t feel or sympathize as much compared to when we see it happening right in front of our eyes.
Dog meat farms may be happening in far away countries. But can you imagine what it would be like to be right there, seeing the dogs in the meat farm right before your eyes? How would you feel then?
Kitty Block of the Humane Society International went to a South Korean Dog Meat Farm and got her first up-close glimpse of the horrible place. And what she saw was overwhelmingly heartbreaking. She could not bear looking at the awful and horrid conditions the poor dogs were subjected to and endured for their entire lives.

All we see are pictures and videos, but can you imagine being right there, looking at those dogs and puppies right in front of you? I would probably break down and cry.
Right from the start of the video, I already felt like crying. My heart broke when I saw those puppies inside the cage! This is just so horrible and it needs to stop! This needs to stop right now!
