What’s your favorite animated movie about dogs?
Mine is either Balto or Frankenweenie. And there’s the upcoming movie The Secret Life of Pets that I’m really excited to watch!
It doesn’t matter if the movie is animated, most dog lovers would tear up when watching a heartwarming scene in a dog movie. And the short animated movie in the video below is one of the most moving and heartwarming we’ve seen. It’s so beautiful and touching that Disney even offered the creators a job!

According to the description on Vimeo, this animation is based on a great little comic strip by a very talented man named Fabio Coala. The creator of this short animation is a student named Jacob Frey and Markus Kranzler. The short animation entitled, “The Present” is a graduation short from the Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
The movie starts with a young boy playing video games all day.

Awwww…now wasn’t that the sweetest! I’m not gonna deny it, tears are welling up in my eyes.
Congratulations to the makers of this beautiful short animation! You guys did an excellent job! It’s no wonder that this they received numerous awards; they bagged 59 awards, folks!!! We sure hope to see a movie like this someday!
