Two Pit Bulls, Louie and Bridget, desperately clung to one another when left at the shelter. They remained closely huddled together as if moving apart would only make things worse. Their photo caught the attention of a couple who drove straight there to foster them.

The dogs’ owner dropped them off without any information or an explanation of why he was giving them up. But that didn’t matter! The couple happily took them home, knowing they deserved a second chance. Once in the car, Louie hid beneath Bridget and shook uncontrollably. Bridget was his protector and stood tall over him to make him feel safe.

The dogs didn’t know how to act inside a home. The couple decided to crate-train them so they could acclimate. Louie didn’t want to be without Bridget in a separate crate, so the couple put them together. As they slowly adjusted, they were introduced to the rest of the pack. That’s when their true colors emerged and it was a beautiful sight to see!

Even though the dogs adjusted, they were still insistent on being with one another in every possible way. Where there was one, there was the other. Their bond never wavered. It was obvious that the pair needed to stay together, but finding a forever home for two dogs is often challenging. Did Louie and Bridget find their happily ever after?
