Chris Hemsworth’s dog recently went on a three-day-long jaunt around town. The young Goldendoodle went missing and sent the family into a panic. People.com reports Sunny vanished after being startled by an electric fence in the Byron Bay area of Australia.
A Missing Family Member Even a Superhero Couldn’t Find
Family friend Tracey Sparks took to social media to appeal for help finding the fluffy pup.
“Sunny is still missing, now approaching her third night lost.. please keep a look out for her,” Sparkes wrote on a local Facebook page.
Sunny was reportedly seen on private property in the area. Luckily sweet Sunny, or Sundog as her family calls her, was found after three days at large!
Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, adopted Sunny in 2014. Pataky posted an adorable picture of the cream ball of fur on her Instagram.
Hemsworth and his wife share three children, India, and twins Sasha and Tristan. The kids adore their fuzzy sister, Sunny, just like any average family.
A Dog With a Personality Bigger Than Thor Himself
The clan posted a video dancing to “Wrecking Ball” last year. Sunny stole the show when she interrupted Hemsworth’s sweet dance moves!
“What started as a ground breaking music video ended in a savage attack by a cowardly K9. Never work with Kids or Animals [sic],” Hemsworth wrote.
Sunny has been known to accompany Hemsworth on set. Hemsworth’s personal trainer, Luke Zocchi, shared a picture on Instagram showing Hemsworth and Sunny going for a walk on the Avenger’s set.

The golden girl has even tagged along with her dreamy dad on a trip to the beach to check out the surf.
“What do ya reckon, Sun? Surf check. Should we go in or no?” the Avengers star jokingly asked the fluffy pup.

The two share a hilarious bond. They even “challenged” each other to an epic stare-off, with questions raised about who the real winner was.

“Had an epic “stare off” with this vicious beast today, neither of us gave an inch and both refused to back down, it went for seven hours and then she passed out. We both have major respect for one another now but I’m pretty sure I’m top dog round these parts from here on,” Hemsworth wrote.
We’re so glad Sunny made it back home safely to her family!
