Dog Loses Consciousness In His Owner’s Arms. Then The Vet Does Something Incredible.

WARNING: This video may be very difficult and painful to watch.

This video got me crying right from the very beginning. This is an episode of Animal Planet’s Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet, and in this episode a homeless woman named Willamae brings her dying dog to the vet. In the video, you will see Willamae’s 14-year-old dog named Chico lose consciousness in her arms. Dr. Jeff and his Planned Pethood Plus team need to act fast to save the dying senior dog.

Willamae and her daughter Sarah has been living in their car after they lost everything when Willamae’s older daughter died. Their dog meant everything to them. But they couldn’t afford the medication for poor Chico. Watch the video below for the full story.

It turns out Chico has serious lung and heart problems. The team was able to revive Chico and Dr. Jeff was able to buy him a little more time without worrying Willamae and Sarah.

I cannot imagine the immense pain that Willamae and Sarah are feeling. Everyone dies…and time will come that our beloved dogs will pass away too. What we can do is love them, give them a happy life, and cherish them while they’re still alive.

Chico has crossed the rainbow bridge. And although he is gone, we all know that he was loved, and his memory will remain in the hearts of those who love him.

Run free, Chico…
