Group Rescues Dozens Of Animals In Need From Woman Posing As A Rescue Group & Breeder

| Published on August 29, 2016

It’s really heartbreaking to see defenseless animals being abused and/or subjected to horrible living conditions. But our faith in humanity gets restored when we see selfless people doing everything they could to rescue these animals and find them loving, forever homes.

Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) is a 501c3 nonprofit animal protection organization. Their mission is to end animal suffering through direct and compassionate action, and to inspire the highest ethical standards of humanity towards animals.

Just recently, the ARC team together with police and animal control officers, was able to rescue dozens of suffering animals who were living in horrible conditions in Savannah, Tennessee.

It was not just dogs they found, there were also cats, chickens, and horses in the area. The team was able to rescue 26 dogs, 5 cats, 10 chickens and 2 horses.

And what’s even more heartbreaking was that they were able to excavate makeshift burials and found 4 dead bodies of animals. But who knows how many animals have died in there.

The animals also didn’t have access to clean food and water. And from the looks of them, they also didn’t get any veterinary care.

The property belongs to a woman who posed as a rescue group and a Chihuahua breeder. Scotlund Haisley of ARC told The Dodo that the owner is has two different websites that are not connected. “She is selling dogs and she’s supposedly rescuing dogs. The only category I am putting her in is an animal abuser.” Haisley said.
