She said the matter involved paperwork, diagrams, and other administrative issues. Blair also explained that she had been trying to relocate for roughly two years, saying a move was important for her health and her ability to continue helping animals. Most importantly for people concerned about the dogs, Blair said both she and the animals were doing well after the visit.
“I’m fine [and] the animals are fine,” she said, explaining that paperwork still needed to be handled. She also questioned why she had not simply received a notification by mail. The investigation and reported discrepancy over the number of dogs have brought new scrutiny to Blair’s rescue operation.
