Man Finds A Lost Dog, Only To Discover That The Dog’s Owners Weren’t Looking For Her

We cannot imagine the pain that dog lovers feel when their dogs go missing. All the worry and the stress must be overwhelming. And when they finally reunite with their pets, they just feel so happy and relieved.

But the story of the lost dog below is far from that. When Imgur user FeetLookWeirdAsHell found a lost Husky named Freyja, he found out that her previous owner weren’t worried at all about her. In fact, they weren’t even looking for her.

He wrote, “Tag was still on her with her owners phone number, after relentless calling they finally answered and informed us that “they weren’t looking for her.” It makes us wonder, what kind of owners did this poor Husky belong to? Thankfully, the person who found Freyja weren’t like her previous owners. The kindhearted guy knew that Freyja deserved so much better. He took her to the vet and there he discovered that she has heartworms–which is probably the reason why they just neglected her.

What kind of family would just dump a dog for such trivial reasons?

The guy welcomed Freyja to his home. And Freyja was so happy to find someone who cared for her and give her the love she deserved.

The amazing guy who found Freyja has just one message to her previous family. In his post he said,

“So to the asshats that ‘weren’t looking,’…thanks for the house broken and fully trained Husky.”

I gotta say, this guy rocks! Thank you for caring for Freyja and for giving her the home and the love that she deserves!
