Everyone, meet Goliath–an eight-week-old rescued calf who thinks he’s a dog.
Adorable Goliath was rescued from a farm when he was just one-week-old. His new owners–Shaylee Hubbs and her family, nursed him back to health and took care of him. But it wasn’t just humans that took care of Goliath. The Hubbs family also had three dogs whom Goliath grew up with. One dog in particular, the family’s Great Dane named Leonidas, immediately fell in love with Goliath.
Shaylee Hubbs told ABC News, “He (Leonidas) would lick the little cow on the face and try to nudge him to stand up. He would lay down with the sick, little cow for hours just to keep him company.”
Ever since then, Goliath has been acting more like a dog than a cow. He has copied the dogs’ behavior and even eats dog food! He also likes to rest on the dog bed!
There was even one time when Goliath entered their home and made himself comfortable on the couch–just like dogs do!
