A true friend is someone who sticks with you in good times and bad. And most of the time, it is during times of struggle where we realized who our true friends really are.
This dog and this cat found true friendship with each other; and how their friendship began is truly heartwarming.
Idgie, the Dachshund, was abandoned. Can you imagine how depressing it must be to be abandoned by the people you call family? On the other hand, Ruth the cat, was paralyzed. They were found together, abandoned in someone’s driveway, where animal control officers picked them up. Ever since then these two have formed an inseparable bond. Idgie protects Ruth from other dogs, staying with her whenever there’s a new dog that comes along. Idgie makes sure her feline friend is safe.
